IMO 1 (T11-T22). In such containers it is allowed to transport dangerous chemical environments, as well as substances under high pressure conditions. These are alkalis, acids, household chemicals, oil products. Wall thickness - 4-7 mm. An overflow may be present, which is determined by the properties of the liquid cargo. If necessary, they are equipped with a heat-insulating layer, a steam or electric heating system. Tank-tanks IMO 1 can be used for the transport of goods belonging to the group IMO 2, but not vice versa.
IMO 5 (T50). Tank containers of this group ensure the safe transportation of flammable substances, including liquefied gaseous media, requiring compliance with a special pressure regime. These are propane, butane, liquefied petroleum gas and others. Containers used for the delivery of gases cannot be used for the transport of other media.
